Mt Gox update - February 20 , 2014 - No implementation of a patch to allow resumption of fiat and bitcoin withdrawals , but Mt Gox did move suddenly ( running away from a few protesters or from death threats ? ) Mt Gox bitcoin prices sinks to a low today of 134 ! As mentioned , Mt Gox protests continue - now three protesters ( expect that number to grow as Mt Gox stalls , runs to a virtual office and continues to not allow resumption of withdrawals ) ...... various warning from Central Banks / Regulators on bitcoin ( Israel , Hungary , Brazil ) ...... Clas Action Lawsuit looming ?
Typhoon Francisco - seems to be tracking toward Japan on 5 day Weather Underground guidance .... Something to keep an eye on !
Greece Updates - August 18 , 2013 - Latest Privatization Agency Head forced out in corruption scandal...... Greece rounds on tax evaders as even if they pay , they still go to jail ( of course the real " whale " tax evaders will not be charged of course )........More austerity on the way , more bank bailouts on the way , more lies from Greece Pols saying all is well / things are getting better / no more austerity cuts after this last round... Yada , Yada , Yada.......
War Watch June 9 , 2014 -- Iraq battlefield between Islamists and the Iraqi Government spreading toward Turkey , Israel ( keep an eye on what Israel decides to do to confront Islamists on their doorstep ) and has already merged with Islamists held territory in Syria ! Will the Kurd's Peshmerga be drawn into the fighting - early reports indicate the answer may be yes as Islamists are attacking in Kurd Regions in Iraq ( and have already taken control in Kurdish areas in Syria ...... Syria Updates from Syria Direct ( looking at the state of the war raging on in Syria ) ........ Iran nuclear talks updates --- With the next set of talks set for June 16 - 20 , 2014 , is there momentum to strike an improved Interim Deal ? Bilateral talks betwen Iran and the US set for June 9-10 in Geneva to attempt to pave the way for the looming P5 + 1 talks .....
Yonhap reports -- We now learn not only was Jang Song - taek executed , but all relatives of the executed uncle of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, including children and the country's ambassadors to Cuba and Malaysia, have also been put to death at the leader's instruction ... One must wonder what is the real deal with the health situation of Kim Kyong Hui ( Aunt of Kim Jong-un and wife of recently executed Jang Song - taek . )
