Following up this article..Endoscope operation at reactor1 “Suppression chamber is broken, flooded water is hotter than PCV”
Actual Fukushima worker, Happy11311 tweeted like this below
<Translate>
I’m back. Today was so sunny, wasn’t too hot so it was a confortable condition to work though the radiation level in reactor1 is high…
As usual, you can’t work longer than 30 minutes there. I wish I could tweet more but am too tired, sorry. The press conference of prime minister about consumption tax tired me more. Bye.

Related to this article..Tepco is planning the first endoscope operation to reactor1
On 6/26/2012, Tepco conducted endoscope operation in torus room of reactor1. Endoscope was inserted from the through-hole (5cm diameter) between the first floor and basement floor.
↓ Torus room
It started at 12:00 and ended at 15:30 (3 hours and 30 minutes in total), they haven’t published the detailed data (radiation level etc..) and photos.
On their daily press conference of the day, they announced the endoscope operation suggested the basement floor, where is used to torus room is flooded and the water level is 5m 20cm (17.06 ft) from the floor. The temperature was 37℃ (98.6F) near surface, and 34℃ (93.2F) near the bottom, where the atmospheric temperature was 28℃ (82.4F)
At 5:00 of 6/27/2012, the temperature in PCV is 34.5 ~ 36.2 ℃ [LINK]
The flooding water in torus room turned out to be hotter than inside of PCV.
They couldn’t identified the broken part of the suppression chamber, and couldn’t take the sample of water because the radiation level was too high to work for long.

Reactor4 foundation is so soft that they need soil stabilization

Following up this article..Possible uneven settlement of reactor 4
On 6/26/2012, Tepco published the latest pictures of Fukushima plants.
The series of photos included the picture of when they were improving soil on South-West side of reactor4 building.
↓ Cement silo for the soil improvement
It can be assumed that this is for the construction of the reactor cover to remove spent fuel, but it’s also suggesting the ground can not bear the weight of the cover building anymore.
