BANK OF AMERICA SYSTEM CRASHES? ONLINE BANKING & DEBIT CARDS DOWN NATIONWIDE
FEBRUARY 1, 2013 BY
THE DOC
*Update- several readers have confirmed that BOA ATM’s are still functioning
Bank of America’s online banking system has crashed, with reports coming in that BOA debit cards are also not functioning.
Not surprisingly, the reports indicate BOA systems are having no difficulties receiving cash…naturally it’s all outgoing funds that are the problem.

During the conclusion of today's Pete Santilli Show, Train-wreck Tommy, a retired 25 year veteran of the commodities exchange on Wall Street reports shocking information from an insider.
Cybergeddon - Banksters Hiring Al Qaeda To Collapse System
In a special segment, Train-wreck Tommy reports on his insider's tip to be prepared for a massive cyber attack within the next 6 months. The implications are enormous, as the banksters potentially have an opportunity to hire contract labor to sabotage the system; collapse the banks; and steal 30-40% of the deposits overnight. Pete says that they also have an opportunity to push the blame of the system collapsing on false flag "terrorists", and recommends that everyone protect their money by pulling all their money out of the banks.
THE BEST WAY TO AVOID HAVING YOUR MONEY STOLEN:
GET ALL OF YOUR MONEY OUT OF THE BANK NOW!

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Add Citizens Bank to the list of financial institutions whose online banking websites are tough to access, Citizens officials confirmed on Friday.
“Our website has experienced temporary disruptions due to an unusually high volume of Internet traffic, similar to disruptions that have impacted other U.S. banks, ” Sylvia Bronner, Citizens Bank spokesperson, said in a statement to KDKA money editor Jon Delano.
This problem of getting online at Citizens Bank is very similar to one that plagued PNC Bank several weeks ago. There, a Middle Eastern group claimed they wanted to stop access online to banks because of their objections to alleged anti-Muslim videotapes on YouTube.
Citizens would not confirm that the al-Qassam Cyber Fighters had targeted them, too. But Carnegie Mellon University professor Michael Smith, an expert on cyber marketing, says the tactics are the same.
“They’re trying to pretend to be real consumers accessing the website, and if you send enough of those requests, the website doesn’t know which are the real consumers and which are the fake consumers, and the real consumers can’t get access,” said Smith.
It’s called DDOS or distributed denial of service.
“The distributed means there are multiple computers all sending requests to the same service. And the denial of service reflects the fact that the goal is to keep legitimate customers from being able to access the computer,” added Smith.
Smith says it’s easy for cyber terrorists to do, but can also be minimized by banks; and while customer information is not compromised, studies show, “If I can’t get access to a bank immediately, I’m going to go someplace else, or I could go someplace else, which is bad for business.”

Earlier this week, hackers gained access to Twitter's internal systems and stole information, compromising 250,000 accounts before the breach was stopped.
Twitter is resetting passwords for the affected users.
Twitter's Lord did not specify the method by which hackers penetrated its system. However, he mentioned vulnerabilities related to Java in Apple's Safari Web browser and Mozilla's Firefox browser, and noted an advisory from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security that users disable Java on their computers.
There are also suggestions in Lord's post that the hacking attempt was organized, and possibly linked to recent cyberattacks on other media institutions like the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times. Lord wrote:
This attack was not the work of amateurs, and we do not believe it was an isolated incident. The attackers were extremely sophisticated, and we believe other companies and organizations have also been recently similarly attacked. For that reason we felt that it was important to publicize this attack while we still gather information, and we are helping government and federal law enforcement in their effort to find and prosecute these attackers to make the Internet safer for all users.
We've asked Twitter to clarify if it believes that the attack originated with hackers linked to any nation's government or military and we'll update this post if we hear back.
Twitter hired Lord, an industry veteran who had previously worked at Netscape and Red Hat, in 2010 to upgrade its security. The information-broadcasting service has about 200 million users.
