Fukushima Updates - April 30 , 2014 -- THREE WORD SUMMARY - " It's all lies " from government ( and Tepco ) .......Slow death of Japan reflected by steadily rising cancer occurrences ( when doctors and Hospitals will bother to do their jobs and actually test folks ) , slow admission that all hope is gone regarding stopping leaks at the Fukushima Reactors , slow walk admission that official data regarding radiation releases previously were way , way off ( so can you disregard any data presented now regarding radiation releases / leaks / contamination of land , sea and foods too ) .....

Fukushima Diary......

Fukushima prefectural gov shrank fallout

survey / Still 10 Million Bq of Cs-134/137

emitted from Fukushima EVERY HOUR

Fukushima prefectural government announced that they decided to shrink the fallout survey from this April.

Having 10,000,000 Bq of Cesium-134/137 emitted from 4 crippled reactors every single hour,Fukushima prefectural government is going to survey the fallout in Fukushima city only in the rainy days. The reason wasn’t announced.

In Fukushima plant area, 2,900 MBq/km2 of Cesium-134/137 still falls down even based on Tepco’s own report.
Even this January, they measured the spike of fallout level in Fukushima city. The reading was 48.3 MBq/km2 (Cesium-134/137), which was the highest since 10/13/2013.
The situation is not stable at all.

Unusual number of “deep-sea fish” caught

dead 2km offshore of Kochi

105 bodies of deep-sea fish “Photonectes” (10~25cm long) were caught in the Pacific on 4/22/2014.

The ecology of this fish is not even well-known. Among 105 bodies, 104 were already dead and 1 is quite in bad shape.
They also caught 9 bodies one day before.

The caught fish was in the fixed net set 2km offshore of Muroto-zaki, in 70m depth.

A professor emeritus from Hokkaido University, Amaoka, who is an expert of deep-sea fish, comments there might have been some abnormality in their habitat.

16 years old boxer came down with acute

leukemia

A 16 years old boxer came down with acute myelogenous leukemia.

It is meaningless to pick up each single cancer case for the purpose of showing the trend, however having no public trustworthy statistics are published, this is the only way to sketch what is going on in real.

The 16 years old boxer, “H” (*) has been training in a boxing gym in Hyogo. He was in bad shape recently, and the doctor diagnosed acute myelogenous leukemia from the result of detailed inspection.

The owner of the gym posted on his blog on 3/15/2014.

* Considering the fact that he is still in 10s, I covered his name and pictures though you can access it from the Japanese source.
