CNN and the gun grabbing media are now calling for Alex Jones to be shot the day after his heated appearance with Piers Morgan.
In a segment on Piers Morgan’s CNN program, sports columnist for the Daily Beast, Buzz Bissinger, shockingly states:
“I don’t care what the justification is that you’re allowed in this country to own a semi-automatic weapon – much less a handgun. But what do you need a semi-automatic weapon for? The only reason I think you’d need it is, Piers, challenge Alex Jones to a boxing match, show up with a semi-automatic that you got legally and pop him.
Abby Huntsman (Huffington Post) : “I’d love to see that… [laughter] in uniform.”
Piers Morgan: “I’ll borrow my brothers uniform.”
The other guests laugh and say they’d like to see it. Without a doubt, this amounts to a veiled threat.
Earlier in the episode, another guest expressed hope that Alex Jones’ children would not be killed, which Jones’ says terrorized his children and family as they watched on from home.

This call to violence from those demanding gun control is nothing new.
Shortly after the Sandy Hook shooting massacre, advocates for firearms restrictions flooded Twitter and other mediums, demanding the murder of the NRA president and other NRA supporters.

Outrage: Bank Of America Freezes Funds of Licensed Online Gun Dealer: “We Believe You Should Not Be Selling Guns On The Internet”
Monday, January 7, 2013 11:10

Legal gun ownership in America is under attack on all sides. From pending bans that would restrict the sale, transfer and possession of certain weapons, to outright calls for repeal of the Second Amendment, we are entering an unprecedented era in American history.
So much so, that not only is the government now coming after your right to bear arms, but private sector businesses are following suit.
One of the country’s largest financial institutions, the ironically named Bank of America, has now taken it upon themselves to decide what is or is not a lawful business practice.
The following alert was posted on the Facebook page of licensed firearms dealer and manufacturer American Spirit Arms.
According to owner Joe Sirochman, the bank, which was recently caught engaging in the highly unlawful practice of laundering billions of dollars in Colombian drug cartel money, has put a freeze on American Spirit’s transaction deposits and has refused to release funds legitimately processed through the company’s web site.
In an apparent attempt to take the moral high road on the issue of gun ownership, Sirochman says the Bank of America manager he spoke to about the inaccessibility of his company’s funds told him the bank believes he “should not be selling guns and parts on the internet.
All,
My name is Joe Sirochman owner of American Spirit Arms and I wanted to share my recent experience with Bank of America .(which we have been doing business with for over 10 years)…. Everyone is familiar with the latest increase in guns sales , dealers selling out of inventory , Manufacturers back logged for months , large revenue all generated in the last two weeks …. American Spirit Arms is no exception to the overwhelming demand . What we have experienced is that our web site orders have jumped 500 % causing our web site E commerce processing larger Deposits to BANK OF AMERICA ..Well, this threw up a huge RED Flag with Bank of America . So they decided to hold the deposits for further review , meaning that the orders/payments that were coming in through the web, ( being paid by the customer and that were shipped out by American Spirit Arms ), the BANK was keeping (UNDER REVIEW )… as you could imagine this made me furious…

After countless hours on the phone with BANK OF AMERICA I finally got a Manager in the right department that told me the reason that the deposits were on hold for FURTHER REVIEW …
HER EXACT WORDS WERE …
“WE BELIEVE YOU SHOULD NOT BE SELLING GUNS and PARTS ON THE INTERNET”
…I flipped the F**k Out and told them that they have no right to make up their own new rules and regs… that we are a firearms Manufacturer with all the proper licensing FFL (Federal Firearm license ), SOT and that we follow all Federal and All States’ rules and regulations on shipping Firearms and parts ..and that we are also Audited by ATF and Homeland Security on a regular basis …
She said that she understands that but that the deposits will be released after they have a chance to review and clear them … I told her that This was unacceptable and the those deposits (that were a week old by now ) needed to be released ASAP, that we are a small business and rely on the revenue to run and stay operational.
After that being said another Manager got involved and released one of the deposits (to help out )… So far to date after two weeks of sales only 1/3 of collected internet sales have been released ..I am still pissed and looking for another Bank and options …
I just thought the public should know ..
I will keep everyone posted on new developments ..
Sincerely
Joseph P Sirochman

As Karl Denninger succinctly points out, what we have here is a private institution determining that their internal regulations and opinions supersede the Constitution of the United States of America:
*** you Bank of America.
MOVE YOUR DAMN MONEY FOLKS AND TELL THEM WHY.
It’s not enough to sell hinky deals in the housing market, to play “head in sand” with Countrywide, to improperly foreclose (even on houses they don’t actually have a loan on!) and more.
Now we have them deciding to effectively steal by conversion, even if only temporarily a lawful business’ fundsthat supports Constitutionally-guaranteed Rights.
**** that and **** you Bank of America.
We second that.
Vote with your wallets and say no to any business that would trample your rights.

The White House Is Planning A Major Push On Guns, And One Democratic Senator Is Already Calling It 'Extreme'

The White House's task force led by Vice President Joe Biden is considering expansive proposals to tackle the nation's gun violence, something that is already drawing early condemnation from even Democratic lawmakers.
The Washington Post reported Sunday that the group headed by Biden is preparing to go far beyond a simple reinstatement of the expired assault weapons ban:
A working group led by Vice President Biden is seriously considering measures backed by key law enforcement leaders that would require universal background checks for firearm buyers, track the movement and sale of weapons through a national database, strengthen mental health checks, and stiffen penalties for carrying guns near schools or giving them to minors, the sources said.

But on Sunday, newly sworn-in Sen. Heidi Heitkamp, a Democrat from North Dakota, called the reported proposals "way in the extreme" and cautioned that they would not pass if brought together in a comprehensive bill.
"Well, I think you need to put everything on the table," Heitkamp said on ABC's "This Week with George Stephanopoulos."
"But what I hear from the administration — and if The Washington Post is to be believed — that's way, way in extreme of what I think is necessary or even should be talked about. And it's not going to pass."
It's an especially strong rebuke from the Democrat Heitkamp, who comes from a red-leaning state and earned an "A" rating from the National Rifle Association. The Post reported that the White House plans to bypass trying to earn support for the measure from the NRA, instead turning to businesses like Wal-Mart for support.
On "This Week," Heitkamp said that there should be a discussion on mental health before one on gun control.
"Let's start addressing the problem," she said. "And to me, one of the issues that I think comes — screams — out of this is the issue of mental health and the care for the mentally ill in our country, especially the dangerously mentally ill. And so we need to have a broad discussion before we start talking about gun control."
President Barack Obama announced the formation of the task force last month in the wake of the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn., which left 20 children and seven others dead.

and if Congress doesn't act - might this be plan B ......

http://www.wnd.com/2013/01/obamas-secret-plan-to-reclassify-your-guns/#GpPjiZy8L0RJgvS0.99

President Obama, congressional Democrats and even some Republicans plan to push new gun-control legislation in the 113th Congress, but defenders of the Second Amendment fear Obama is poised to enact the restrictions through the Executive Branch if Congress is not cooperative.
John M. Snyder heads GunRightsPolicies.org and has worked for organizations from the National Rifle Association to the Second Amendment Foundation and the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms. He said Obama and his allies have already chartered what regulatory course to pursue through the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, or ATF.
“We have some confidential information that he may order the ATF to reclassify certain models of semi-automatic firearms as Title 2 guns under the Gun Control Act of 1968,” Snyder told WND. “What this would mean is that people could not obtain these without going through a terribly difficult process that includes registration of each firearm and paying a severe fee for the ownership of each one.”
Snyder said an even more drastic approach from Obama would be to try to ban semiautomatic weapons altogether.
“Also, there is the possibility that the administration could try to declare that semi-automatic firearms are fully automatic firearms or machine guns under this Title 2, in which case they would be banned because of an amendment that’s on the books, the Gun Control Act of 1968.
Snyder is referring to what’s known as the Hughes Amendment, which forbids the acquisition of any new fully automatic weapons or machine guns.
The possible strategy is not a new idea, according to Snyder. He said liberal groups have advocated the move for years, but Democrats have been reluctant to pursue it because of the massive public backlash that will ensue.
“This is an ongoing project of theirs, and they use a lot of these tragedies to try to advance their cause in a public relations sense. So far they’ve been unable to do that,” said Snyder. “It appears that the public is catching on to them and they know what their game plan is, generally speaking. So a lot depends on their frustration, the political situation at the time and a number of other factors, too.”

Even if the Obama administration were to bypass Congress by imposing new regulations, there is still one card left for pro-Second Amendment forces to play: The House of Representatives could remove funding for the ATF or abolish it completely. But would the House GOP actually do that?  Snyder is confident it would.
“I wouldn’t be surprised. I think the House is really furious with the president,” Snyder said. “The Republicans would like to cut budgets of the federal government because they think the federal government is taking too much money and spending too much money, and a good place for them to cut would be in the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms.  If there is strong enough public support against the activities of the federal government, the House of Representatives will develop a plan to slash the budget of the agency. I think it’s a real possibility.”

I have quietly watched and evaluated the in pouring of e-mails reference the liberal’s intent to seize guns and crush the second amendment.  I want to add a few of my own thoughts on this issue as I have worked in and around all the people who could be tasked to seize your guns.
WHO’S COMING TO GET THEM?
United Nations (UN)
We are the UN.  Other countries mostly join the U.N. to secure money, funding and training and few have any offensive combat capability. Most serve as guards at static locations and have no will to fight.  America is the enforcement arm of the U.N.  We have the money, equipment, personnel and lift platforms to get the job done.
If the president ever let the U.N. in this country, it would be a foreign invasion and armed Americans would stand up and crush them in a day. Our government would break down and the president would be ousted for letting foreign militaries invade our country.
Federal Government Military
Having served over 20 years in our military, I know that most soldiers would refuse the order to take part in the confiscation of weapons. First, the president would have to give the order, which is an “Illegal Order” in violation of the constitution.  I don’t believe that service members would go back into the communities that raised them and conduct raids on good Americans in violation of the constitution.
Remember, these forces would have to come from a military base that is surrounded and supported by American communities.  Civilians would simply cease to support the bases and they would fold in a short time.  Cut of the fuel, food, electricity on bases and this would stop the silliness.   Also, many, many service members live in the communities and they would have to travel from their houses to base unless they were locked down.  In that case, their families would still be in the community and people would not be too friendly to those supporting these actions.
Federal Government DHS or TSA
The Federal government is not large enough or talented enough to seize guns.  If they were to do 5-8 raids a day seizing guns, they would be physically and mentally exhausted and need a break.  Physically conducting raids is exhausting.  After the first few raids, the word would get out and Americans would start to fight back.  It would take one good ambush from a house or along a travel route to decimate a tactical force or make it combat ineffective
Next, most Federal Agencies work out of a fixed location centrally located in a community.  Also, their personnel live in those communities along with their families.  Once the word got out that they were doing raids in violation to the constitution, they and their families would be at risk.  If they were to start raiding houses, kicking in doors and breaking in windows looking for legally owned guns, their homes would be subject to the same treatment by Americans rising up to defend themselves.  They would shortly find themselves without a place to live.
State Law Enforcement
The Governor would have to order State and Local Law Enforcement to either:
  • Seize guns
  • Ignore the Federal Orders
If they ignore the Federal Orders, things would be tense, but people would be civil. If they started to seize guns, they only have limited people and assets to do this. Much the same consequences would take place as with the Federal Government.
Local Law Enforcement
Local Police and Sheriff Departments are the backbone of who protects American Citizens.  A Sheriff or Chief of Police would have to give the order for his people to begin to seize weapons.  Their people would either comply or see it as an illegal order and refuse.
Remember, Chiefs and Sheriff’s also have to live and work in the same communities they serve. As I described with the Federal Government, local Tactical Teams could probably only do 8-10 hits in a day and then need a break. So they hit ten houses and seize their guns, the word would get out and now they are subject to living in the same community as those they are attacking.  It would not go well.  Also, after one or two determined Americans or combat vets fought back, the team would lose many to death or injury and they would have made a decision whether to continue to push the fight.  Remember also, they have to sleep sometime.  Their homes and families would be at risk.  It is an ugly scenario at best.
Nation of Combat Veterans and Patriots
Having been at war for over 10 years, we have a nation of combat vets and contractors that have seen more action than many of our WWII vets.  It has been said that only a small percentage of Americans stood up to the British War machine in the Revolutionary War.  Americans are better armed and trained today than at any time in our nation’s history. Think about what would happen if just our nation’s veterans stood up. People have been buying more guns and ammunition in the past five years than any time in my life. The guns and ammunition are out there along with the talent to use them.
Kool-Aid Drinkers
Kool-Aid Drinkers is the term I use to describe the Jonestown voluntarily massacre where the Peoples Temple Agricultural Project, a dedicated community western Guyana by the Peoples Temple led by cult leader Jim Jones intentionally drank poison Kool-Aid.  Over 900 people died.
In every law enforcement, government and military agency or branch, there are a small number of Kool-Aid drinkers who would blindly follow orders.  They would either be purged internally by their co-workers or people they attacked would stop their gene pool.
Also, at the police tactical team level, all members “volunteer” for the job and they can have the individual integrity to terminate their team service at any time if their profession becomes corrupt or misguided.  I know many a good officer that has done that in the past.
Finally, there would be a certain number of American Kool-Aid drinkers that would turn in their weapons if asked.  I believe it would be a small percentage as there are always those that do not have the will to resist or fight and they are not needed should thing get tough.
History of “Gun-Free Zones”
Our nation’s history is filled with examples of “gun-free” zones failed.
The Aurora Colorado movie massacre and the recent Connecticut shooting are two that come to mind.  Also, remember the Fort Hood massacre where an Islamic extremist Major Nidal Malik Hasan killed 13 soldiers because our military bases are gun free zones.  Combat trained soldiers had to be rescued by a security guard.  That is embarrassing.
Evil came to all of these places and everyone was disarmed and not ready to fight back because they were gun free zones.Think what would happen at a national level if the American people were disarmed.  Another evil would come along either from inside our country or outside of it and resulting in our downfall.
How about others in recent history:
In 1929, the Soviet Union established gun control. From 1929 to 1953, about 20 million dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
In 1911, Turkey established gun control. From 1915 to 1917, 1.5 million Armenians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
Germany established gun control in 1938 and from 1939 to 1945, a total of 13 million Jews and others who were unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated.
China established gun control in 1935. From 1948 to 1952, 20 million political dissidents, unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated
Guatemala established gun control in 1964. From 1964 to 1981, 100,000 Mayan Indians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
Uganda established gun control in 1970. From 1971 to 1979, 300,000 Christians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
Cambodia established gun control in 1956. From 1975 to 1977, one million educated people, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
Defenseless people rounded up and exterminated in the 20th Century because of gun control: 56 million.
Solutions
Write your state representatives and let them know how you feel about this issue. I would like to think that most states would refuse the order.
Next, at the local level, talk to your Sheriff or Chief of Police and ask them if they would allow or support the federal government in their confiscation of firearms.  Put them on the spot now and hold them accountable. I like to think that most states would refuse the order.
Should firearm confiscation begin, solutions are simple.  If they cannot live in a community, they cannot work in a community. If their house goes away while they are at work confiscating guns, so be it.  Allow them to leave with their family and what possessions they can pack in their car.  Point them to California and let them know all the Hollywood types would be happy to financially support them in the fantasy land they wish to live in and that they are not welcome in Free America.
In the end I believe that guns are the glue that hold our country together. Guns keep the government in check and the individual American safe and free.  Remove guns and the government will no longer be controlled by the people. The government will control the people.
Finally, it is claimed that the Battles of Lexington and Concord, in 1775 were started because General Gage attempted to carry out an order by the British government to disarm the population resulting in the “Shot heard round the world.”

And consider the demand for guns.....

http://www.nbclosangeles.com/news/local/Ontario-Convention-Center-Crossroads-of-the-West-Gun-Show-Firearms-185769562.html

With supply low and demand high, gun owners flocked to the Ontario Convention Center this weekend to stock up on ammunition at the state’s first gun show since a mass shooting at a Newtown, Conn., elementary school reignited the dormant gun control debate and increased sensitivity across the nation to firearms.
Some 6,000 people had filled the center by Saturday afternoon, and more than double that figure is expected to attend the event, which is open to the public and ends Sunday. The massive turnout is something even theCrossroads of the West Gun Show promoter didn’t expect.
"Nationally manufacturers can't keep up demand for firearms or ammunition," said Bob Templeton, with Crossroads of the West Gun Shows. "There's no ammunition at stores, I'm understanding, anyway."

ORLANDO, Fla. -
Nearly 8,000 people attended the first day of the Florida Gun Shows' exhibition this weekend in Orlando, according to event organizers.

Crowds broke records on Saturday, and organizers said it's possible they'll see even larger numbers of gun enthusiasts before the weekend ends.
Hundreds of gun buyers took vouchers that would allow them to return on Sunday  because it was difficult to get into Saturday's events.
"[Gun enthusiasts] are buying and they're buying as fast as they can get them," said Victor Bean, promoter for Florida Gun Shows.  "We've had some exhibitors who had to cancel because they didn't have any inventory from their gun shops."
Organizers and gun owners said there's an overwhelming feeling that certain guns will not be available soon.
"They're afraid they'll lose their gun rights, their Second Amendment rights," said gun dealer Dan Derringer, of Lakeland. "They want to get a gun, and, hopefully they'll be grandfathered in.  If [President Barack] Obama makes any changes, they'll be covered."

(CBS) — Guns and ammunition are disappearing off store shelves in the Chicago area.
Is it fueled by gun-ban fears, or something else?  CBS 2’s Courtney reports.
Several gun store owners say they started noticing a surge in sales after mass shootings like the ones in Aurora, Colo. and Newtown, Conn.

To add fuel to the fire, customers really began flocking to their stores when politicians started talking about making changes to gun laws.
Empty cases, bare shelves, and a phone that’s been ringing off the hook – that’s what things have been like for Don Mastrianni inside his Elmwood Park gun store.
“You can’t get them in here fast enough. As a matter of fact, for a while, I was selling things before I actually got them,” Mastrianni, owner of Illinois Gun Works, says.
He tells CBS 2 the state’s proposed assault rifle ban and President Obama’s vow to address gun laws has sent him customers by the dozen. They’re buying whatever they can get their hands on, he says.
“A lot of the politicians really are the gun industry’s best salesman, because anytime they threaten to make some kind of regulation, everybody runs out,” Mastrianni says.
Bernadette Terry, co-owner of North American Firearms in Lombard, is noticing the same thing. She says even ammunition is now hard to come by.
“Anything that has high-capacity availability: gone. People are grabbing it because they don’t’ think they’ll be able to get it anymore,” Terry says.

State Sen. Dan Kotowski, D-Park Ridge, says he believes gun sellers are using such rhetoric as a marketing ploy to help boost sales. He is sponsoring the bill to ban assault rifles in Illinois.
Gun store owners tell CBS 2 they’re having a hard time replenishing their supply because most nationwide distributors are also out of stock.
