Speaking with Infowars’ Alex Jones, former Assistant Deputy Secretary of State Dr. Steve Pieczenik says Israel plans to attack Iran before the U.S. elections of Nov. 6., and, that an attack on Iran will assuredly kickoff WWIII, according to him.
Moreover, Pieczenik, a man whose career inspired the character Jack Ryan of the Tom Clancy book series, says the ‘October Surprise’ will not take place in October. Instead, the big surprise will come earlier, in late September.
Dr. Pieczenik says the specific date of the strike on Iran is Sept. 25th or 26th, Yom Kippur—the Jewish holiday, which commences in the year 2012 at sundown on the 25th, and ends at nightfall, the following day.
“It [an Israeli attack on Iran] could be earlier than October, because we have Yom Kippur. And I predicted on your radio show, and I predicted to our national security people, privately, that Benjamin Bibi Netanyahu would start something on Rosh Hashanah,” says Pieczenick.
“This [prediction] was over a year ago, and I said it on your radio show. He was as predictable as a clock, and the Israelis will be very predictable, on Yom Kippur,” he adds.

Reservists drafted at no notice, Air Force, Central Command and other IDF units were flown to Israel’s northern Golan border early Wednesday, Sept. 19, for a surprise exercise called by Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Benny Gantz under the codename “National Asset.”
The official IDF announcement tried to downplay its importance, describing it as a “planned, routine event.” However, DEBKAfile’s military sources say the war game is the biggest the IDF has conducted in the eight years since the second Lebanon war on Hizballah in 2006, with tens of thousands of soldiers and senior officers, including the artillery and the air force taking part.
Over the last weekend, witnesses reported heavy traffic of convoys of tank and APC carriers and military vehicles with emergency store markings heading north, just days after the IDF completed a large-scale war game on Israel’s Syrian and Lebanese borders simulating a Hizballah attack.

Given evidence of Mossad’s checkered past and involvement with the attack of the USS Liberty on Jun. 8, 1967, killing 34 American soldiers, Pieczenik comments won’t be received as a big surprise to many Americans.

And, as far as the U.S. Ambassador to Libya, Christopher Steven: he was murdered by the Israeli, Saudi Arabia and Zionist neocons cabal, according to Pieczenik.
“The killing of the ambassador is to precipitate war, so that Israel can finally get into Iran and try to destroy Iran,” he says. “It will be the beginning of the end of Israel. It’s Armageddon for Israel,” if it attacks Iran.
“The Pentagon source informed me the distance between the Libyan embassy, where the ambassador was, and where the rioters were, was so large, and two days of delay in response . . ., simply that they [the killers of Stevens and three other embassy employees] were professionals ready to take out our ambassador,” he adds, and with the “approval from Saudi Arabia.”
Adding to Saudi Arabia’s involvement of the two-plane demolition job in NY City, the crash of another alleged plane into the Pentagon, and the alleged downing of another plane into the woodlands of Pennsylvania, he says, “Saudi Arabia and Israel are twins. . . . There’s no way you can separate Israel from Saudi Arabia, or Saudi Arabia from Israel. They go back all the way to 9-11.”
Then the subject of the killing of alleged mastermind of 9-11, Osama bin Laden. According to Pieczenik, the account of Navy Seal Admiral William McRaven and President Obama regarding bin Laden’s death in Pakistan is another unmitigated “lie.”
“Then we get to the issue of Osama Bin Laden, which Obama said incorrectly and lied to the public that Osama Bin Laden was killed by Seal Team 6,” states Pieczenik. “Admiral McRaven had lied, repeatedly—unfortunately, a decent admiral, but for whatever reason he repeatedly insisted on saying Seal Team 6 killed Osama Bin Laden.”
Pieczenik says Bin Laden had already been dead, and McRaven had known that.
And the names that came out of 9-11 unofficial investigation are, what Pieczenik calls, the “neocon chicken hawks” of “Paul Wolfowitz, Elliot Abrams and Michael Chertoff.”
He adds, “Chernoff, the Chernoff Group, which is nothing more than a cover for the CIA and FBI, run by Charles Allen, a former CIA operative.”
Moreover, U.S. intelligence was behind the uprising in Libya, the assassination of Libyan president Muammar al-Gaddafi, and the murder of U.S. Ambassador to Libya Christopher Stevens, according to Pieczenik.
“Why this particular ambassador,” Pieczenik asks, rhetorically. “I think it’s very important for your audience to understand . . . Stevens was an ‘Arabist’. . . ”
He goes on to explain to the Infowars listeners that so-called Arabists are experts of Arabic culture, language and Arab history. But, these State Dept. professionals also could pose a threat to Israel’s ongoing propaganda war in a long-standing effort to elicit sympathy for the Jewish state.
Israel is no friend of America, according to Pieczenik.
He says, “From a geopolitical point of view, Israel is a strategic liability and has been a strategic liability for over 20 years. Since 1968, we have had no need for Israel other than the fact it covered us under the Soviet Union on the eastern, southern and northern flank.”
Presently, Israel is engaged in an all-out “provocation propaganda” campaign, according to Pieczenik, with the knee-jerk accusation from Netanyahu of Iranian involvement in the tourist bus explosion in Bulgaria, as the most recent and egregious example. The Bulgarian bus bomb incident is still under investigation.
But the Obama Administration won’t bite to being drawn into another unpopular war—following the failures, war crimes and lies surrounding the attack of Iraq and Afghanistan by the Bush Administration.
“Netanyahu has no idea that Petreus will not save him; Dempsey will not save him; our Navy will not save him; McRaven will not save him; neither will Obama,” states Pieczenik. “He cannot get that message through, so he’s pushing this through until he kills one of our ambassadors, precipitate what we call ‘provocation propaganda’, only with the approval of Saudi Arabia.”
Yom Kippur falls on the dates Sept. 25 and 26. Watch for those dates, says Pieczenik.

PARIS: France will close its embassies and schools in around 20 countries on Friday because of fears of a hostile reaction to a magazine's publication of cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH), the foreign ministry said on Wednesday.
Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius earlier announced that he had ordered special security measures “in all the countries where this could pose a problem.” Fabius admitted that he was “concerned” by the potential for a backlash to satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo's printing of a series of cartoons featuring the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH), against a background of violent protests in the Muslim world over an anti-Islam film.

PARIS (AP) -- France stepped up security at some of its embassies on Wednesday after a satirical Parisian weekly published crude caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad. The prime minister said he would block a demonstration by people angry over a movie insulting to Islam as the country plunged into a fierce debate about free speech.
The government defended the right of magazine Charlie Hebdo to publish the cartoons, which played off of the U.S.-produced film "The Innocence of Muslims," and riot police took up positions outside the offices of the magazine, which was firebombed last year after it released an edition that mocked radical Islam.
The amateurish movie, which portrays the prophet as a fraud, a womanizer and a child molester, has set off violence in seven countries that has killed at least 28 people, including the U.S. ambassador to Libya.
The French Foreign Ministry issued a travel warning Wednesday urging French people in the Muslim world to exercise "the greatest vigilance," avoiding all public gatherings and "sensitive buildings" such as those representing the West or religious sites.
Government authorities and Muslim leaders urged calm in France, which has western Europe's largest Muslim population.
"This is a disgraceful and hateful, useless and stupid provocation," Dalil Boubakeur, rector of the Grand Paris Mosque, told The Associated Press. "We are not like animals of Pavlov to react at each insult."
CFCM, an umbrella group for French Muslims, issued a statement French Muslims to "not cede to provocation and ... express their indignation in peace via legal means."
Prime Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault said organizers of a demonstration planned for Saturday against "Innocence of Muslims" won't receive police authorization.
"There's no reason for us to let a conflict that doesn't concern France come into our country," Ayrault told French radio RTL.
Paris prosecutors have opened an investigation into an unauthorized protest last Saturday around the U.S. Embassy that drew about 150 people and led to scores of arrests.
The tensions surrounding the film are provoking debate in France about the limits of free speech.
The small-circulation weekly Charlie Hebdo often draws attention for ridiculing sensitivity around the Prophet Muhammad, and an investigation into the firebombing of its offices last year is still open. The magazine's website was down Wednesday for reasons that were unclear.
One of the cartoonists, who goes by the name of Tignous, defended the drawings in an interview Wednesday with the AP at the weekly's offices, on the northeast edge of Paris amid a cluster of housing projects.
"It's just a drawing," he said. "It's not a provocation."
The prime minister said freedom of expression is guaranteed in France, but cautioned that it "should be exercised with responsibility and respect."
Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius defended freedom of expression, but warned that Charlie Hebdo could be throwing "oil on the fire" and said it's up to courts to decide whether the magazine went too far.
"Freedom of expression can be limited by court decisions. If there is a case of overstepping, it's up to individuals or groups to bring it to the courts, which will say whether the law ... was respected," he said after a Cabinet meeting.
Abdallah Zekri, President of the Paris-Based Anti-Islamophobia Observatory, said his group is considering filing a lawsuit but no decision has been made. "People want to create trouble in France," he told AP. "Charlie Hebdo wants to make money on the backs of Muslims."
Fabius said that because of the Charlie Hebdo caricatures, embassy security was being stepped up in some countries, and that he had "sent instructions to all countries where this could pose problems."
On the streets of Paris, public reaction was mixed.
"I'm not shocked at all. If this shocks people, well too bad for them," said Sylvain Marseguerra, a 21-year-old student at the Sorbonne. "We are free to say what we want. We are a country in which freedom prevails and ... if this doesn't enchant some people, well too bad for them."
Khairreddene Chabbara disagreed. "We are for freedom of expression, but when it comes to religion it shouldn't hurt the feelings of believers."
Charlie Hebdo has courted potentially dangerous controversy in the past. Last November the magazine's front-page, was subtitled "Sharia Hebdo," a reference to Islamic law, and showed caricatures of radical Muslims. The newspaper's offices were destroyed in a firebomb attack just hours before the edition hit newsstands.
In 2006, Charlie Hebdo printed reprints of caricatures carried by a Danish newspaper in 2005 that stoked anger across the Islamic world. Many European papers reprinted the drawings in the name of media freedom.
Charlie Hebdo has also faced legal challenges. The weekly was acquitted in 2008 by a Paris appeals court of "publicly abusing a group of people because of their religion" following a complaint by Muslim associations.
The debate about the limits of free expression spread to neighboring Germany, where Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle said Wednesday, "I call on all those, especially those who rightly invoke the right of freedom of speech, to also act responsibly. The one who now puts more oil on the fire on purpose, with obvious effect, is not the greatest thinker."
Speaking in Berlin, he said the German Embassy in Sudan, which was attacked last week, remains closed and security at the country's embassies in other countries has been beefed up.

A French satirical magazine is set to publish several cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed on Wednesday, a move that is likely to inflame the Islamic faithful and militants who have already rioted in more than 20 countries over a movie mocking the prophet.
Depictions of the prophet are strictly prohibited and considered blasphemous by Muslims. Cartoons of Muhammad published in Denmark in 2005 and then reproduced in newspapers across Europe triggered riots throughout the Mideast and Africa. Churches and embassies were torched and at least 100 people died in the outbreaks and police crackdowns.
The magazine “Charlie Hebdo” has confirmed that it will publish the cartoons, but has not revealed what they will depict. French newspaper “Le Monde” reports that some of the cartoons show the prophet in “particularly explicit poses,” without providing any further detail.
The move comes as Muslims are still simmering after riots in Egypt, Libya, Tunisia and nearly 20 other countries over the move “Innocence of Muslims.” U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans died during an attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya.
French government ministers have criticized the magazine’s decision and police in Paris have stepped up security around its offices.
France is home to Europe’s largest Muslim population, and the senior cleric at Paris’ biggest mosque has appealed for followers to remain calm, according to the French news agency AFP.
The magazine has defended the move by invoking the right to free speech. Speaking on French radio, the magazine’s director explained that a decision not to publish would “hand victory to a handful of extremists that are causing a commotion in the world and in France.”
It’s not the first time the anti-establishment, left-wing magazine has courted controversy. In 2011 the offices of “Charlie Hedbo” were bombed after it published an Arab Spring edition with the Prophet Muhammad as “guest editor” on the cover.

FEARS that a wave of anger in the Islamic world could spread to Europe mounted as it emerged a French magazine was planning to publish cartoons caricaturing the Prophet Mohammed.
Satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo confirmed that its latest edition contains several cartoons featuring Mohammed that the publication's editor said would "shock those who will want to be shocked."
The magazine is due to hit the streets today against a background of protests across the Islamic world over a crude US-made film that mocks Mohammed and portrays Muslims as gratuitously violent.
At least 30 people have died so far in demonstrations held in over 20 countries.
Charlie Hebdo is no stranger to controversy over its handling of the issues relating to Islam.
Last year it published an edition "guest-edited" by the Prophet Mohammed that it called Sharia Hebdo. The magazine's offices in Paris were subsequently fire-bombed in what was widely seen as a reaction by Islamists.
Charlie Hebdo's latest move was greeted with immediate calls from political and religious leaders for the media to act responsibly and avoid inflaming the current situation.
French Prime Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault issued a statement expressing his "disapproval of all excesses."
The magazine's editor, originally a cartoonist who uses the name Charb, denied he was being deliberately provocative at a delicate time.
"The freedom of the press, is that a provocation?" he said.
"I'm not asking strict Muslims to read Charlie Hebdo, just like I wouldn't go to a mosque to listen to speeches that go against everything I believe."
Dalil Boubakeur, the senior cleric at Paris's biggest mosque, appealed for France's Muslims to remain calm.
"It is with astonishment, sadness and concern that I have learned that this publication is risking increasing the current outrage across the Muslim world," he said.
"I would appeal to them not to pour oil on the fire."
Even before news of Charlie Hebdo's plans emerged, France's large Muslim community was being urged to take to the streets in defiance of an official ban on demonstrations over the controversial film.
Messages on Twitter and social networking sites called for demonstrations to be held Saturday in Paris, Marseille and other major cities, a week after police in the capital arrested 150 people for taking part in a rowdy protest near the US embassy.
Most messages read "Don't touch my Prophet", a variation of the French anti-racism slogan "Don't Touch my Mate" popular in the 1980s.
Interior Minister Manuel Valls said Sunday the authorities would not permit any more demonstrations against the film, saying Saturday's protest had been orchestrated by groups that "advocate radical Islam".
France is home to Western Europe's largest Islamic community, with at least four million Muslims in the country.

“Innocence of Muslims”, the GOP and World War III

We are being told by ABC News that Iran has launched a submarine and a destroyer into the Persian Gulf from Bandar Abbas port on Tuesday at the same time as U.S. and allied forces held massive naval exercises in the same waters to practice keeping oil shipping lanes open.
Tehran has repeatedly threatened to close the Strait of Hormuz, a route for oil exports from the gulf, if Iranian nuclear sites are attacked by Israel, which believes Tehran is trying to develop an atomic bomb. But think about it.
As Mike Rivero observes, this may well be a propaganda run-up to a false flag attack in which one of Israel’s Dolphin submarines, admitted by Germany to be armed with nuclear-tipped cruise missiles, sneaks up along the Iranian cost and fires an attack at a US ship, quite possibly the soon-to-be-scrapped USS Enterprise. So, ahead of hearing the Big Bang and the inevitable screams from Israel’s presstitutes at ABC/ NBC/CBS/FOX. Just use your common sense and ask yourself why Iran, trying as hard as they can to avoid a war, would initiate such a foolish attack? As a reminder, Iran has not started a war in over 300 years. And a “false flag” attack under these circumstances would be all too easy to arrange. We are on the verge of World War III. How did we reach this point?
With the demise of the Soviet Union in 1991, the US military-industrial-complex was on the verge of losing its principal justification for the gravy train of producing endless arms and ammunition to restrain the relentless expansion of the Communist Empire.
It desperately needed an alternative “boogie man” to keep the conveyor belts moving and its profits–from increasingly technical and expensive weapon systems–soaring, where nothing could work better than some shadowy and elusive enemy in the form of “terrorists”, whose identity has no geographic boundaries and where “terrorist acts”, such as the Bali bombing, could be arranged at any time it would be politically expedient. If the government claims such an act was done by “a terrorist”, very few are in the position to explain that it was actually Blackwater (now “Xe”), Delta Forces, or even the CIA.
The fabrication of the events of 9/11, which were done with complicity by the Mossad, fulfilled that objective perfectly, especially by blaming those attacks on 19 Islamic fanatics under the control of a guy off in a cave in Afghanistan. Few have noticed that the first reported claims of responsibility were attributed to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, as Preston James and I explained in “Peeling the 9/11 Onion: Layers of Plots within Plots” (2011). 15 of the 19 “hijackers” were from Saudi Arabia, but no one here seemed to notice.
That Osama had been “our man in Afghanistan” was never acknowledged and, although stories of “blowback” have abounded, until this latest series of protests, which appear to represent the culmination of the decade of abuse of Muslims as a people and Islam as a religion, they seemed fabricated or contrived. Certainly, the low road taken by the Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld troika, which, in “9/11 and the Neo-Con Agenda” (2008), I likened to a crime syndicate masquerading as an administration, sowed the seeds for bona-fide “blowback”.
The Assassination of an Ambassador
The deaths of Ambassador Christopher Stevens, information management officer (“propaganda specialist”) Sean Smith, and two others may have been cunningly contrived. In his recollections of Stevens, French philosopher Bernard-Henri Levy has remarked, “This time, the imbeciles have won”, because the ambassador was among the strongest friends of the Islamic world the US has ever placed in the field. While my thoughts about this are somewhat speculative, it may have instead been part of the plan to use the excited protest against this deliberately provocative film, “Innocence of Muslims”, as a cover to take out one of our most effective ambassadors, where there are reasons to believe that he was not going to go along with new plans to destabilize Libya once again. Sen. John McCain, who recently visited Benghazi, has laid the responsibility for his murder on Obama for not paying enough attention to foreign affairs, which suggests that this incident may be part of the GOP “game plane” to elect Mitt Romney by attacking the President’s foreign policy. There are reports that the attackers may have had help from inside the consulate.
Bear in mind that the Israels are the most accomplished practitioners of “false flag” ops in the world today. You do not have to go back to the bombing of the King David Hotel in 1946 when a gang of Irgun terrorists dressed as Arabs murdered 91 and injured another 46; or the attack on the USS Liberty in 1967, when Israeli fighters torpedoed and strafed an American spy ship during the Six Day War, killing 34 and wounding 170; or the bombing of its own Embassy in Bueos Aires, Argentina, in 1992, which did not result in enough deaths, so they bombed the Jewish Community Center for greater political effect in 1994 (“False Flag Attacks in Argentina: 1992 and 1994″, with Adrian Salbuchi). But the massacres at Sabra and Shatila in 1982 are nice illustrations of the duplicity of the nation’s highest leaders, where Arial Sharon provided cover for the massacre of between 762 and 3,500 Palestinian and Lebanese Shiite civilians by a Lebanese Christian Phalangist militia, while the IDF illuminated the streets to facilitate the killing. So taking out Ambassador Stevens under the cover of this protest would have posed no problems for the Mossad.
The “Innocence of Muslims” as Provocation
Of course, those who understand the history of the three great Abrahamic religions are aware of their common origins, but that kind of knowledge and sensitivity is exceedingly rare in the USA. As Christof Lehmann observes, “Hollywood stirs Middle East Plot“, Asia Times (18 September 2012), it is rather difficult to imagine that this inferior, low-budget film and those earlier cartoon denigrations of the Prophet Mohammed could possibly explain the resistance they have met in the Middle East, which appears instead to be the latest manifestation of decades of stereotyping of Arabs that has come from Hollywood. Westerners and non-Muslims are seemingly so used to the scapegoating, stereotyping and denigration of Muslims and in particular Arab Muslims in art and entertainment, he remarks, that they don’t realize the degree to which the Western news and entertainment industry, and in particular Hollywood–which is largely dominated by individuals who are dedicated to the cause of Zionism and to promoting Israel’s interests–is representationally depriving an entire population, predominantly Muslim, of its essential humanity.
As Lehmann also reports, the Arab American scholar, D Jack Shaheen, has studied more than 1,000 movies, from the oldest Hollywood productions to the greatest blockbuster productions up to 2001 before published Real Bad Arabs, How Hollywood Vilifies a People. Shaheen concluded that no less than 300 movies, more than 25% of those he studied, vilified Arabs and Muslims in one way or the other, which represents an effort comparable to World War II Nazi propaganda against the Jewish people. This extensive and enduring cinematic portrayal of Arabs, especially Palestinians, creates a cultural background against which current events have to be understood. Even the Disney Classic Aladdin, which has been seen by millions of people worldwide, affords an example of Hollywood’s dehumanizing approach. The gullible and naive, especially children, are subtly induced to believe that Arab countries are typified by barbaric practices, such as where innocent women have their hands amputated for forgetting to pay at the bizarre; and, in other films, as he explains, Arab men are depicted as imbecilic and super-rich, sex-addicted tyrants, who not only mistreat their women but especially American women, who are kidnapped and sold off to sleazy Arabs at auctions. That theme is nicely illustrated by “Taken”(2008), where a retired CIA agent (played by Liam Neeson) travels across Europe and relies on his old skills to save his daughter, who was kidnapped on a trip to Paris and sold at auction to a wealth Arab sheik. Even my wife and I enjoyed the film, which I am embarrassed to admit, but it is of that kind.
The film as Zionist anti-Muslim Propaganda
According to The Washington Post (14 September 2012), the man who goes by the name, “Sam Bacile”, turns out to be Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, 55, if that indeed is his real name, who has been convicted of financial crimes. By making the film, he may have violated the terms of his parole and could be sent back to prison. He pleaded “no contest” to bank fraud charges in 2010 and was banned from using computers or the internet or the use of false identities as part of his sentence. Kakoula has identified himself as a “Coptic Christian”, where much of the film was apparently shot inside the offices of Media for Christ, a non-profit based in Duarte, an area of Los Angeles, CA, which has raised more than $1,000,000 to “glow Jesus’ light” to the world. A Hermit, CA, man who was script advisor for the film, Steven Klein, has reported having received several death threats, but claims this was an exercise of his First Amendment rights and that he is prepared to die defending them.
The most reasonable interpretation of the production of this film, where the actors themselves did not know the roles they were destined to play when it was edited, like earlier cartoons belittling the Prophet Mohammed, is that it was intended to inflame tensions in the Middle East, which have already been exacerbated by the ongoing presence of US military forces in Iraq and in Afghanistan, not to mention their presence in Pakistan and the on-going use of predator drones. So much of what is taking place has to be understood as stage props in political theater, none of which have been more blatant than the second killing of Osama bin Laden or concealing the first death of Saddam Hussein, which I summarized in “9/11: Have we been bamboozled?” (2012). The political situation relative to the presidential election to be held in November suggests that this may be part and parcel of a plan to salvage the prospects of Mitt Romney, who has staked virtually his entire political fortunes on the claim that Barack Obama has a failed foreign policy.
The Master Plan: to take over 7 nations in 5 years
Remember that Wesley Clark, the former Supreme Allied Commander Europe (a 4-star general), acknowledged that he had been informed of plans for the US to attack 7 countries in 5 years at The Commonwealth Club of California in San Francisco (3 October 2007). Most of the countries on that list, including Iraq, Afghanistan, and Libya, have been taken over, where the battle for Syria continues to rage and that for Iran appears to be about to begin. We have reports that Iran is supporting Syria, which makes excellent sense, and it would come as no surprise if Russia were not doing what it can to maintain the Assad regime in place. In my view, if Russia were to declare that any attack on Iran would be regarded as an attack on Russia, it would bring about a high degree of stability and end the hysterical calls for attacking Iran, which have been promoted by Benjamin Netanyahu, especially, who turns out to be a close friend of Mitt Romney and may even believe he would be in the position to dictate US foreign policy were Romney to be elected.
A situation like this would be inconceivable in times past when there was domestic disagreement between the political parties in the United States but still unanimity in foreign affairs. As David Kerans (3 October 2012), has explained, however, the parties have become so polarized that even foreign policy is no longer bipartisan. Since the misconceived “Citizens United” decision by the Supreme Court to allow corporations unlimited spending on political advertising, the US has become increasingly under the control of the rich and powerful. Economic discussion is dominated by free market theology, which has no basis in reality, since the conditions that Adam Smith declared necessary for free markets, including transparency in pricing and the absence of monopolies, do not exist in America today and are one more part of the illusional ideology known as “American exceptionalism”. When an administration can murder 3,000 of its own citizens, fabricate evidence and promote political myths, which is the grim reality of 9/11, it should be apparent to the world that the US is no longer a responsible member of the community of nations.
Coping with disinformation and propaganda
Most of what is going on in the US and the world today that affects public opinion about the war on terror and the ongoing aggression in the Middle East is, like the events of 9/11, either phony or contrived. Wayne Madsen (“Wayne Madsen Reports”, 23-24 July 2012), for example, has found several links between James Holmes of the Aurora, CO, “Batman” shooting, and U.S. government research: “James Holmes, the 24-year old suspect in the mass shooting of Batman ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ movie goers in Aurora, Colorado that left 12 people dead and 58 injured, has had a number of links to U.S. government-funded research centers. Holmes’s past association with government research projects has prompted police and federal law enforcement officials to order laboratories and schools with which Holmes has had a past association not to talk to the press about Holmes.” This is very suspicious on its face and suggests the possibility of mind-control.
Similarly, Madsen has also discovered (7-8 August 2012) that the dead suspected gunman who opened fire inside a Sikh temple in Oak Creek, Wisconsin served from April 1992 to October 1998 as a member of the psychological operations unit at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. “CNN cited a ‘Pentagon source’ claiming Page was discharged from the Army in 1998 for “patterns of misconduct.” However, the U.S. Army only revealed that Page was awarded several medals, including good conduct medals and a humanitarian service medal.” This does not prove that these were staged events, but they certainly create that presumption. And CNN has also just reported (16 September 2012), “Egypt’s prime minister said some of the thousands involved in days of protest near the US Embassy got paid to participate, state news reported Saturday, the same day riot police managed to force demonstrators from the area”. It is becoming increasingly difficult to sort out which events are real and which are Memorex.
Setting the Stage for World War III
It’s a matter of setting the stage for further and more ominous actions. The UK “Telegraph” (15 September 2012), has now reported that an armada of US and British naval power is massing in the Persian Gulf in the belief that Israel is considering a pre-emptive strike against Iran’s suspected nuclear weapons program: ”Cruisers, aircraft carriers and minesweepers from 25 nations are converging on the strategically important Strait of Hormuz in an unprecedented show of force as Israel and Iran move towards the brink of war. . . . In preparation for any pre-emptive or retaliatory action by Iran, warships from more than 25 countries, including the United States, Britain, France, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, will today begin an annual 12-day exercise.” We have here what may well be the ingredients for a “perfect storm”.
The situation is completely absurd: Iran has not attacked any other nation for over 300 years. Iran has renounced development of atomic weapons. Iran has signed the NPT and allowed inspectors into its facilities. Israel, by contrast, has 200-600 or more of these little beauties, has not signed the NPT and does not allow inspectors into its facilities. Yet its prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, “King Bibi: ‘Red Line’ with Iran Means War Next 60 Days“, YouTube (16 September 2012), has demanded the US draw a “red line” to demarcate developments by Iran that would commit the US to war. The US so far has refused to do that, which may itself be a “false front” by the Obama administration. But the situation is enormously fraught with hazard and represents the greatest threat of precipitating World War III since the Cuban Missile Crisis, when cooler heads and higher intelligence prevailed.
