Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski has proven his “political realism” by comparing his country’s relations with the US to unrewarding oral sex, the Russian Foreign Ministry commented.
In a leaked recording of a private conversation, Sikorski said that Warsaw’s alliance with Washington is worthless and even damaging as it “creates a false sense of security in Poland,”as cited by Wprost, which published excerpts from the alleged exchange between Sikorski and Jacek Rostowski, an MP and former finance minister.

“We will get a conflict with both Russians and Germans, and we’re going to think that everything is great, because we gave the Americans a blowjob,” Sikorski reportedly said.

According to Wprost, he called the Poles “total suckers” for their stance and repeated the phrase“complete bullshit” numerous times during the conversation.

“The essence of Sikorski’s statements indicates his political realism,” the Russian Foreign Ministry later said in a comment as cited by RIA Novosti.

As for the use of strong language, “it’s is probably a kind of a response to the offensive and rude remarks by [Assistant Secretary of State for Europe Victoria] Nuland about the European Union,” the ministry suggested.
US State Department spokesperson Marie Harf declined to comment on the report, saying the US cannot confirm the authenticity of the tapes.
Back in February, a leaked phone call revealed Nuland saying f**k the EU as she was discussing the shape of the future Ukrainian government with the US ambassador to Kiev.

Sikorski’s words came as a shock for many in Poland as the minister has always been known for his critical stance towards Moscow and passionate support of stronger ties with Washington.

In early June, he suggested the US could establish a military base in Poland as the country felt threatened by the Ukraine crisis.

“America, we hope, has ways of reassuring us that we haven't even thought about. There are major bases in Britain, in Spain, in Portugal, in Greece, in Italy. Why not here?” Sikorski told the New York Times.

The small American military presence in Poland was recently boosted with the arrival of 300 airmen and a dozen F-16 fighters for joint exercises this year.

But it may be just the beginning as Barack Obama promised to invest an additional $1 billion in stepping up American military presence in Eastern Europe amid the Ukrainian crisis.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said the Sikorski conversation leak won’t lead to any scuffles in the cabinet, calling it an attempt to destabilize the political situation in the country.

Despite "Giving Americans A Blow Job", Polish Foreign Minster Says "US Alliance Is Worthless"

Well this is awkward. week after the Polish central bank was busted offering favors to the government (exposing its utter un-independence); the same Polish news magazine has obtained s ecret recording of Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski saying that Poland's relationship with the United States was worthless. The Wprost news magazine said the recording was of a private conversation between Sikorski and Jacek Rostowski (finance minister) with such headlines as "you know that the Polish-US alliance isn't worth anything;" also describing Warsaw's attitude towards the United States using the Polish word "murzynskosc" - roughly translated as a negro slave - "It is downright harmful, because it creates a false sense of security ... Complete bullshit. We'll get in conflict with the Germans, Russians and we'll think that everything is super, because we gave the Americans a blow job. Losers. Complete losers." USA - making friends wherever they go.

A Polish news magazine said on Sunday it had obtained a secret recording of Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski, in contention for a senior European Union job, saying that Poland's relationship with the United States was worthless.

The Wprost news magazine said the recording was of a private conversation earlier this year between Sikorski and Jacek Rostowski, a member of parliament with the ruling Civic Platform who until last year was finance minister.

...

Aides to Sikorski and Rostowski said they had no immediate comment. A government spokeswoman said it was hard to form a view based on a few excerpts of a conversation, but there might be a comment later.

According to a transcript of excerpts of the conversation that was published by Wprost on its Internet site, Sikorski told Rostowski: "You know that the Polish-US alliance isn't worth anything."

"It is downright harmful, because it creates a false sense of security ... Complete bullshit. We'll get in conflict with the Germans, Russians and we'll think that everything is super, because we gave the Americans a blow job. Losers. Complete losers."

According to the transcript, Sikorski described Warsaw's attitude towards the United States using the Polish word "murzynskosc."

That derives from the word"murzyn," which denotes a dark-skinned person and someone who does the work for somebody else, according to the PWN Polish language dictionary.
Of course - there is no official response yet (but no denials either)...
Asked by Reuters to comment on the transcript of Sikorski's conversation with Rostowski, foreign ministry spokesman Marcin Wojciechowski said:"We do not comment on media speculation ... Possible comments will be published only after the whole magazine is published."

Government spokeswoman Malgorzata Kidawa-Blonska said the government waswaiting for publication of the full recordings before commenting.
We presume we will hear that these comments were taken out of context or some such excuse but we are not really sure what context they belong in that makes it all 'acceptable'?
It appears no matter where you look; no matter how 'allied' a nation is, it is turning its back on the US...
The magazine did not say who recorded the conversation, or how it obtained the recording... which makes one wonder if the KGB had a hand in it? Alienating 2 key NATO players.

The Polish Foreign Minister believes his country’s alliance with the US is worth nothing and compared his government’s stance to giving oral sex and receiving nothing in return, a Polish magazine said, citing a leaked recording of a private conversation.
Excerpts from the alleged exchange between FM Radoslaw Sikorski and Jacek Rostowski, an MP and former finance minister, were published Sunday by Wprost, which promised a full transcript and audio files later on Monday or Tuesday. The same magazine triggered a political storm in Poland this month by releasing a recording of a conversation between the head of Poland’s central bank and the interior minister, implying a link between the two violating the bank’s independence.
According to Wprost, Sikorski is skeptical about the reliance of Poland, one of the staunchest allies of Washington in Eastern Europe, on American protection.
“The Polish-American alliance is not worth anything. It’s even damaging, because it creates a false sense of security in Poland,” Sikorski allegedly said.
“Complete bullshit,” the tape purportedly records Sikorski as saying. “We will get a conflict with both Russians and Germans, and we’re going to think that everything is great, because we gave the Americans a blowjob. Suckers. Total suckers.”

Sikorski further blamed the nature of relations between Warsaw and Washington on the Polish mentality.
“The problem in Poland is that we have a very shallow pride and low self-esteem,” he allegedly said, decrying such a mindset as “Murzyńskość”, a racially-charged derogative term that could be translated as “thinking like a negro.” Sikorski suggested on Twitter the translation should be “negritude,” linking it to the anti-colonialism movement in Europe.

  1. @SteveMullUSA it must be saddening to read what @sikorskiradek thinks about PL-USA relations. But isn't he right? war
@johngodson @sikorskiradek I’m not going to comment on alleged content of private conversations. As for our alliance, I think it’s strong.
